Astonishing Water Repellency

The Revo® ALX Theta incorporates a newly developed Salt Shield™ bearing concept with a water-repelling shield to greatly increase corrosion resistance, smoothness and long-term durability in the saltwater environment. Compared to a normal stainless-steel ball bearing exposed to salt water over a period of four days, Salt Shield™ bearings remain unaffected with no rust or salt crystallisation formed. This astonishing water repellency delivers game-changing performance and durability for saltwater anglers.

Uniflow Bail

Achieved weight reduction by using high strength aluminium alloy. By smoothing the shape of the bail joint, issues such as braid entanglement around the bail are significantly reduced.

Rocket Line Management

The rocket line management system is the combination of three critical components:

- Spool design: the unique spool design which includes the rocket spool lip, emits line from the spool more smoothly and evenly.

- Oscillation system: The slow oscillation system controls the way that the line is brought back onto the reel, ensuring it is laid evenly and smoothly.

- Bail opening angle: The unique bail angle of the Revo® series help to control the line as it travels to the first stripping guide of the rod, by controlling the line as it exits the spool lip.
